USL Player of the Week Rob Vincent led the visiting Pittsburgh Riverhounds to a 3-1 victory over
Toronto FC II on Saturday evening.

Raheem Edwards had a late consolation goal for the young Reds.

With the loss TFC II’s record falls to 4-11-3 on the season.

The visitors were able to open up the scoring early in the first half at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

Midfielder Rob Vincent unleashed a rocket from just outside the 18-yard box that went top corner
on Quillan Roberts.

Vincent’s goal was his league leading 17th of the season.

TFC II came close to equalizing in the 25th minute. Forward Edwin Rivas cut to his left and hit
a low shot from just outside the box that was saved by the fingertips of Pittsburgh goalkeeper
Jesse Gonzalez.

Jesse Gonzalez was recently loaned out to the Riverhounds by MLS team FC Dallas and was stellar
in his debut for Pittsburgh, making some big saves and interceptions for the visitors.

TFC II had another great opportunity to tie up the match two minutes later. Babouli met Rivas’
cross from the left side of the pitch but his header went just wide of the post.

Pittsburgh extended their lead in the 30th minute through midfielder Lebo Moloto. Kevin Kerr
flicked a pass through to Moloto and he bent a left-footed shot into the bottom corner beating
a fully stretched Quillan Roberts.

The visitors essentially sealed the three points eleven minutes before fulltime. Moloto controlled
a loose ball in the box and made a pass to an open Miro Cabrilo who tapped it home for Pittsburgh’s
third of the match.

TFC II picked up a consolation goal in the dying seconds of the match. Substitute Raheem Edwards
controlled a lobbed pass off his chest and took a touch before releasing a lovely left-footed
shot that flew past a diving Gonzalez.

Edwards’ tally was his first professional goal for Toronto FC II.

Toronto FC II will look to bounce back on Tuesday as they travel to Stade Saputo to face bitter
rivals FC Montreal in a midweek clash.
