The long-awaited home opener at the Ontario Soccer Centre is finally here as your Reds take on the
Pittsburgh Riverhounds this Wednesday at 8PM.

TFC II is coming off a 1-0 win on June 27th at BMO Field against Wilmington Hammerheads FC.

The Opposition

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds sit 5th in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 6-5-4
over 15 matches.

This will be the second meeting between the two clubs this season. The previous match was on April 25th,
a convincing 5-1 victory for the Riverhounds at Highmark Stadium.

Pittsburgh is coming off an impressive 3-0 victory over New York Red Bulls II this past Saturday with
USL’s leading scorer Rob Vincent leading the way with two goals.

Players to Watch

Aforementioned Rob Vincent has been a dominant force in the league this season.

His two goals against NYRB II this past weekend has him sitting in first in league scoring with 11. He had
a brace against TFC II in their first meeting of the season.

Head Coach Jason Bent is well aware of the problems Vincent can pose for them.

“For me he’s probably been the best player that I’ve seen so far this season in terms of his range
of passing, his ability to strike from long range,” said Bent to media on Monday.

“He can see a pass, he can also score so we have to make sure of his presence at all times,” he added.

Kevin Kerr, Pittsburgh’s second leading scorer, is also on Bent’s radar.

“Kerr is a pretty strong player as well. They feed off of each other, looking for each other quite
often on the pitch,” he said of Kerr and Vincent.

Ontario Soccer Centre Home Opener

The heavily anticipated TFC II home opener at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan cannot come soon enough.

The entire organization has been extremely eager to finally play on home turf, especially TFC II
midfielder and Vaughan native Luca Uccello.

“We’re all tremendously excited you know, just play in front of your home fans, it’s unbelievable,”
he told media prior to training on Monday.

“Now that we’re in my hometown it’s amazing and I can’t wait to get out there and play,” he continued.
