Rochester, NY – The Rochester Rhinos have just their second home match of the season on Saturday, May 9th,
as we welcome Toronto FC II to town and kickoff at 7:05pm! The Rochester Rhinos come in undefeated on the
year with a 5-0-2 record (W-L-D) while Toronto FC II come into the match carrying a 1-3-1 record, with
their only win coming against FC Montreal.

Your Rhinos are undefeated through seven matches and come into the match having given up the fewest amount
of goals in the entire league. Rhinos goalkeeper Brandon Miller currently sits at the top of the USL
in Goals Against Average (0.44 GAA) having only given up two goals in 405 minutes this season. At the
other end of the pitch, the attack is being lead by Christian Volesky, Alex Dixon, and Jonny Mendoza.
Volesky, who was named to the USL Team of the Week for his performance in against FC Montreal, leads
the team with four goals and eight points. Dixon is second on the team in goals and points as he has
managed to knock in three goals (six points) thus far. Mendoza has been an integral part of moving the
team from the defense to the attack and he has managed to find the back of the net twice this season
including a brilliant goal in the home opener to seal the victory.

Toronto is coming into the match after having last weekend off. They are 1-3-1 on the season with their
last match being a loss to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds 5:1 on April 25th. They have managed to net seven
goals this season but have given up 13 total, eight of those coming in the 2nd half of matches.
Toronto FC II is led in points by Molham Babouli as he has netted two goals and assisted on one other
for five points.

“Toronto is very athletic. They have a lot of quality players and a good group of young and dangerous
attacking players,” Lilley stated. “At this point, we know we are being hunted. They’ve had some time
to prepare for this match with last weekend off and we’ve let the guys know that we expect this
to be difficult.”

“Toronto will pose problems with their overall team speed. We have to dictate the game and be very good
in transition. They can punish teams in the open field.”We have been very disciplined in terms of the
approach each week. We must be right, ready, and collective as a group. I believe they are a much better
team than their record shows and will hit their stride at some point,” Lilley concluded.
