Then he's hard sold as are we to 'donate your ticket' for the Colorado game to members of the Canadian Armed Forces. (yeah but why? there'll still be thousands of unsold seats that the team could give away if they wanted to.) There's a pizza slice giveaway, Autograph Alley pass giveaway--always given to members in the front row where the MC can reach, and a drumstick ice cream giveaway as usual. There's a game of Budweiser soccer pong where two teams of two partners throw soccer balls into buckets about 15 yards away.

45 min...TFC Marky Delgado GOAL...TFC Michael Bradley rush from 55 yards up left and dekes sliding OC Aurelien Collin at 15 yards and taps pass between two defenders in 6 yard box and Delgado shoots in low 8 yarder up middle under sprawling goalie into center of net. TFC Sebastian Giovinco was waiting on right side of 6 yard box occupying another defender.
49 min...TFC Osorio rush down middle and stops to elude defenders and get away 15 yard shot that goalie sprawls to save. TFC Bradley blasts rebound from 25 yards well over net.

Attendance was announced as 26397 on this hot and sunny day. They still can't sell this place out on this 'premier' price ticket which included the $18 admission price for the Canadian National Exhibition if you hadn't bought tickets beforehand.

Man of the Match (who is always a TFC player) was named as Michael Bradley although the television crew was interviewing Jozy Altidore after the game. I thought Bradley played a brilliant game and had two assists setting up the goals as nothing more than tap-ins for Delgado and Morrow after doing all the work.

Orlando outdrew TFC in cards at six to two including the two Red cards. TFC were up a man from 35 minutes and that certainly would change the game for later I thought. It took until the first minute of the second half for the onslaught to begin.

Justin Morrow scored the third TFC goal and drew the Red card by Rafael Ramos and then a Yellow by Kaka less than three minutes later.

Chris Konopka earned the shutout for TFC without having to do much. He had played Wednesday night for TFC II and allowed one goal in one half of play.

This was the biggest win in TFC club history by scoreline. Today's 5-0 win gives them a three game sweep of the series with a 2-0 win on the road and a 4-1 win right here just two and a half weeks ago. That's 11-1 in scoring. Orlando, can you come back next week please?

Cyle Larin couldn't get the service again today and was really the lone forward for the game. He remains tied for the rookie record with 11 goals.

TFC ran out the last five minutes of the game with pass arounds while up by two men. They had padded their lead with two goals after going up by that many men although one of those was the resulting Penalty kick.

Orlando were without two defenders through suspensions from previous games. Tyler Turner and Darwin Ceren were the missing players. Now their next game they'll miss two different guys with the two Red cards today. The game program pointed out the Lions had collected seven Red cards this season. Turner collected one of them at the 40 minute mark last week against Seattle in their 4-0 loss. They are an expansion team and just don't have the depth to be without their regulars.

Just north of the city TFC II were playing New York Red Bulls II (they lost 2-0) but that was only two hours after this game and there was no way I'd get there in time so I stayed on the CNE grounds taking in the exhibits.
