Halftime entertainment: There's a giveaway for passes to be part of Autograph Alley player signing session, a pizza slice giveaway, showing off the Rogers Tent seat exchange, drumstick ice cream giveaway, and Budweiser beer pong game which was for two teams of two contestants were taking throw-ins into plastic buckets which would be taken away when a basket went in. The Central Ontario Building Traders Hammer Heads delivered an oversize cheque for charity of $17001.00

Attendance was announced as 26648 on this hot night with many fans late getting here.

Sebastian Giovinco takes over the MLS goal scoring lead with 16 passing Kei Kamara of Columbus by one as the Crew didn't play tonight. Giovinco scores a hat trick which is the first in TFC history at BMO Field. It was his 16th of the season and sets a team record passing the recently retired Dwayne DeRosario. He scored on a Penalty kick, then on a freekick down the middle off the left post, and finished with a shot from the left into the right corner of the net. The Man of the Match (who is always a TFC player) was understandably Giovinco which I agree. His goal celebrations have started to get more pronounced. He's getting the home crowd into it.

Collen Warner had the other TFC goal on a header charging towards goal at 79 minutes. It made up for his blasting a sitter over the net from 8 yards at 59 minutes. Warner scores only his second TFC goal and third in the MLS.

Robbie Findley was not effective at being set up and took off target shots and losing possession.

Joe Bendik didn't have much to do as TFC outshot Orlando 21-5 of which only three were on target.

Once TFC had a 2-1 lead at 55 minutes they were in their element looking to counterattack everytime they regained possession. That meant a lot more runs by Giovinco or set up attemtps for him.

Benoit Cheyrou was the captain of TFC (with no Bradley and Altidore). He was carded in a dust up in the center circle but stayed in and started the their fourth goal fourteen minutes later.

Cyle Larin was really the only Orlando forward as he was alone upfield with two defenders watching him. He had chances at minutes 3, 12, and 35 but was quiet for all the second half. He is currently tied at 11 goals with the rollkie record which has stood since 2003 yet we've only just passed halfway through the season. He is a Canadian from Brampton who I watched play for Sigma FC last year in League 1 Ontario. He was the first pick of the MLS rookie draft this year.

A question was where was Orlando's star player Kaka? He is the team leader for most minutes played. Orlando couldn't do without him whereas TFC are getting used to Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore being missing on US national team duty. Tonight Bradley was recovering from an injury while Altidore was serving a suspension for picking up a Red card in their game in New England on the weekend. Bradley's picture was on tonight's game ticket.

TFC wore 'gold' looking numbers but these were compiled pictures of season ticket holders.

The win mores TFC up to third place in the Eastern conference in the standings in a three way tie with two games in hand on Columbus and New England. Their record is 9 wins, 8 losses and 4 ties for 31 points. Orlando's record falls to 7 wins, 10 losses, and 6 ties for 27 points. TFC use up one of their games in hand so they advance as there was only one other league game tonight.

A rumour is that forward Bright Dike is gone from the team. A new defender Josh Williams has joined the team.

There's a change in the game program for the first time this season so this game only it was less repetitive.
