League1 Ontario leading scorer Felipe Vilela again took matters into his own hands for the Devils, scoring with eleven minutes
remaining in weekend match vs. Sigma FC, and rescuing a 2-2 draw from the jaws of defeat after Sigma had led for much
of the contest.

"We eventually forced a mid second half equalizer from Khody Ellis with good footwork in the box, following good pressure
in and around the Sigma penalty area," said Oakville head coach, Duncan Wilde.

"We then got caught ourselves, over-playing out of the back which resulted in GK Karman giving away a penalty kick which
was well taken for a 2-1 Sigma lead. There is a tremendous desire within our group not to be beaten and the boys showed
great character once again to respond with very good pressure on our opponents. We earned a penalty kick of our own for
a foul late in the game, which leading scorer Filipe Vilela dispatched to tie the game."

Sigma's Kadell Thomas got the home side off to a great start with his goal inside the first minute, while Marcel Zajac
appeared to have killed Oakville's resolve with his 67th minute strike that cancelled out Oakville's opener
from Khody Ellis.

"Zajac has been very good over the past month and he continued his level of performance with a goal and an assist
on the evening," said Sigma head coach, Bobby Smyrniotis.

"He was a constant problem for Oakville and his run 30 seconds into the match to feed Thomas was well orchestrated
as a team and individual play. He is emerging as a top player in this league showing his ability to contribute
to a game in many ways on and off the ball. Along with Zajac, Thomas was very good on the opposite wing once again."

"I believe we are a little unlucky not to come away with the three points but there were two very good teams
on the pitch competing on the night in conditions that did not allow for the best brand of football to be on display,"

With the draw, Oakville is now one win away from clinching the 2015 League1 Ontario championship.

The stage is set for a brilliant matchup this weekend as Oakville plays away to the in-form 2014 League1 champions,
Toronto FC Academy, on Sunday September 27, 1:45 p.m. kickoff at Kia Training Grounds.

Sigma, currently in fourth place, will look to make up ground on third place Vaughan Azzurri when they play
second place Woodbridge Strikers on Thursday September 24 at Vaughan Grove, Woodbridge - 9 p.m. kickoff.

Finally, if Sigma beats Woodbridge, league leaders Oakville Blue Devils will be guaranteed the League1 Ontario title.
