Woodbridge Strikers travelled to meet Pro Stars in matchweek 18, and the typically defensive side broke type
by pumping five past the Stars, winning 5-2 at Victoria Park, Brampton.

"I thought we played a good game tonight," said Woodbridge head coach, Peter Pinizzotto.

"The team moved the ball well, we had good ball possession throughout the game and created many scoring
chances," he added.

"I'm very happy that finally we were able to score few goals because the team created many opportunities
in this game."

Adrian Gallo scored three on the night, with Joseph Jackson and Darian Bygrave adding one each.
Leaford Allen and Xavier Wright got the markers for Pro Stars.

"The turning point was scoring early in the game which gave the team much confidence," said Pinizzotto.

"The player of the game on our team was Adrian Galo, scoring three goals in his first full game," he added.

"I thought the best player for Pro Stars was their #9, Leaford Allen. He scored a goal, and was
also very dangerous with his speed."

Vaughan Azzurri - 7 p.m. kickoff.
