The Ontario Soccer Centre's newly renovated Stadium Field will play host to the 2015 League1 Ontario
Women's and Men's Division L1 Cup Finals on Sunday, August 9.

Come out and enjoy some outstanding soccer action. Admisssion is Free!

First up, at 3pm, North Mississauga Panthers will square off against Vaughan Azzurri in the Women's
L1 Cup Final.

Panthers got to the Final thanks to a somewhat unexpected 2-0 victory in the semi-final round over
league leaders Durham United FC, led by a pair of goals by veteran striker Krista Cellucci.

Vaughan punched their ticket to Sunday's Final by defeating cross town rivals Woodbridge Strikers
5-4 in Penalty Kicks, after the match ended scoreless through 90 minutes of regulation time.

Panthers and Azzurri have faced each other twice so far in the inaugural 2015 League1 Ontario Women's
Division season, with Vaughan coming out on top both times by scores of 2-1 and 2-0. The youthful
North Mississauga side will be looking for payback with the Cup on the line.

At 6pm, Sigma FC and Woodbridge Strikers will take to the Soccer Centre Stadium pitch to contest
the Men's Division L1 Cup Final.

Sigma has qualified for their second conseutive L1 Cup Finals, having come up just short
to Vaughan Azzurri's Men's team in the 2014 edition. They will surely be looking for a different
outcome this time around. Sigma will be led by Midfielder Richmond Laryea and Forward Chris Nanco,
who between them scored all the goals their side needed in their Semi-Final round match on Tuesday,
where they outlasted ANB Futbol by a score of 3-1.

The experienced Woodbridge side earned their way to the Finals by defeating the Durham United Men
in their Semi-Finals fixture last week, earning a 7-6 win on Penalty Kicks after the match ended
goalless in regulation time. Woodbridge has earned a much deserved reputation for an incredibly
stingy defence, led by League1 Ontario Mid-Season All Stars Matt George (GK) and Vincenzo Sasso (D),
that has conceded only 4 goals in ten regular season matches thus far in 2015.
