Fourth place Sigma ran up an 8-0 score over Master's FA Saints in matchweek 12, with a whopping
eight different players getting on the scoresheet.

The first seven goals were scored inside an hour, by Richard Laryea (14'), Alex Halis (21'),
Manny Morgado (38'), Marcel Zajac (42') Marcus Hanson (45+1'), Eji Mrabure (55'), Arlick Ntabana (57').
Kadell Thomas (90+1') made it an even eight just after regular time.

In spite of the goal haul, Master's head coach Junior Groves gave the man of the match honours
to Sigma's goalkeeper, Triston Henry.

"Henry in goal I would say was the most outstanding player, as we got the first three chances
in the game, and then multiple chance after this, but just could not pass him in goal," he said.
"We have seven top players injured and out of the line up so we can't afford not to score
on so many chances."

Between the intense heat, and a growing list of injured key players, Masters took the opportunity
to substitute personnel often, and experimented with youthful and inexperienced side.

"Isaiah Page did a wonderful job to create the first three chances in the game," said Groves. "We had
a 1999 youth come on in the central defence in the second half and played very well."

"We missed too many of our early chances when we were fresh, and the heat just burned out our offence
while we had to play from behind."

"We will now go back and build to play the next half of the league with our talented youth involved
so they will have an advantage next year."

Sigma hosts Toronto FC Academy on Saturday July 25, 4 p.m. at the Hershey Centre, Mississauga,
while Masters will look to rebound on Saturday July 25, 9 p.m. at L'Amoreaux Park,
Scarborough vs. Kingston Clippers.
