Woodbridge Strikers continued their form in matchweek eleven, winning 3-0 away at Kingston and stretching their
unbeaten run to eight in nine matches. Jonathan Parolini (57'), Christian Cavallini (18') and Ignazio Muccilli (8')
registered goals for the Strikers, while Matt George claimed his sixth clean sheet of the season.

Highlights from the match are available below.

"This was a great road win," said Woodbridge head coach, Peter Pinizzotto. "The team played a very disciplined
road game, and to win on the road is never easy. The team stuck to the game plan by playing great defence first,
we were very patient as a team, and tried to take advantage of their mistakes."

"Many injuries and lack of in-form players led to us falling down early on in the match and we just could not
recover after," said Kingston head coach, Christian Hoefler.

"Once they scored their third goal, it was a very difficult challenge to attempt to overcome. A few personnel
changes added some better attacking dynamics to our side; however we just could not score past their organized
back line."

Pinizzotto paid tribute to the work of Kingston forward, Ryan McCurdy, while Hoefler selected Woodbridge's
Christian Cavallini for special mention.

"I thought one the most dangerous player on Kingston was Ryan McCurdy but our defence did a great job on closing
him down quickly," said Pinizzotto, while Hoefler said [Cavallini] was always in the right place at the right
time - very intelligent player."

Woodbridge currently sits in fifth place, but on 19 points the Strikers are only four points away from
Vaughan Azzurri in second place - on whom the Strikers hold two games in hand. Woodbridge will hope to close
the gap this weekend, as they host Windsor Stars on Sunday July 19 at Vaughan Grove, 7 p.m.

Kingston currently occupies ninth place, but maintains home pitch advantage over ANB Futbol at Tindall Field
(Queens University) on Saturday July 18th, 7 p.m. kickoff.
