Pro Stars F.C. added to their winning form in matchweek nine, winning their third match in all competitions, and second
in the league, this time travelling to Kingston and toppling the Clippers 1-0.

"The team came out from a two game winning streak and we had to keep the players focused to not take any game easy,"
said Pro Stars head coach, Josef Komlodi. "The boys maintained a full composure during the game, and the beginning
of the first half, when we scored the goal, gave us the confidence to play our game."

Pro Stars got off the to best start possible, scoring in the seventh minute off the boot of Leaford Allen.

"The number 10 (Allen) found space well and created any chances Pro Stars had," said Clippers general manager,
Chris Eveleigh. "We kept our shape well in the second half but the one lapse of concentration early on led
to a goal and we couldn't find the goal we deserved."

Pro Stars will have felt hard done by Kingston goalkeeper Navi Sidhu, who made several crucial saves to keep
the contest in hand.

"We liked #1, the goalkeeper Sidhu, who made outstanding saves and gave a very solid support to his defense line,"
said Komlodi. "He prevented us from scoring on our three breakaways."

"Navi Sidhu made some good saves to ensure we stayed in the game," agreed Eveleigh. "While Maher Husseini
remained calm in possession and organised well from defence."

Both Kingston and Pro Stars have had opposite trajectories in the early going of the League1 Ontario men's
season, and will need to go back to the training grounds with very different briefs for the players.

"After a difficult start of the season, finally we can have a much more relaxed environment to improve
and refine the details on the team," said Komlodi.

"We will assess the last two games and look at ways to firstly improve our fortune in front of goal as our
attacking instinct is lacking," said Eveleigh. "And we will also look to ensure we don't lose concentration
and concede goals."

Clippers will have their mettle tested on Saturday July 4 in matchweek ten, as they have second-place
Vaughan Azzurri visiting Queens University's Tindall Field for a home fixture, 7 p.m. kickoff.

Pro Stars will also meet Vaughan Azzurri, but not until Sunday July 12 at McNaughton Field, Maple, 2 p.m. kickoff.
