Pro Stars secured their second win of the still young 2015 League1 Ontario men's season in matchweek
eight, getting the 1-0 winner from Jordan Piccinin (47').

"[Our MVP] was Jordan Piccinin, who scored the winning goal and created constant pressure on the opposition
team's backline," said head coach Josef Komlodi. "We also liked [Sanjaxx's] goalkeeper, Matthew Zaikos,
who made outstanding saves and gave very solid support to a high defensive line."

Sanjaxx head coach, Laza Lowe, also named a keeper - Pro Stars' Zachary Bozorvoy - as MVP, as well
as a stalwart Lion.

"For the League 1 men's game, the Sanjaxx MVP was Aidan Cooper Zuccatti because of his work rate and
willingness to compete," he said. "The MVP for Prostars was the goalkeeper because he shut us out."

The issue of mental focus and preparation was paramount for the technical staff on both teams, with
Lowe speaking to his team's continuing development in this regard.

"The biggest challenge in the match was the ability to stay focused for ninety minutes," he confirmed.
"The goal against us was scored when our players started to dispute the referee's call and did not
continue to play once the play had resumed. That was the key moment in the match. Our team will review
the footage and discuss this point."

"The team required a good deal of extra mental preparation to keep them focused to win the game,"
said Komlodi of the Pro Stars' players. "In the past, we let the game slip away as we made simple
mistakes, but the beginning of the second half, when we scored our goal, gave us the confidence
to fight."

Komlodi saw signs that his team can continue this winning streak, and believes his player personnel
and squad depth offers reason for optimism.

"Finally the team was able to relax," he said. "We had no injuries and were able to compete with all
the best players on the field. We hope the team is able to rebound and start compete on a much
higher level."

Next match for Pro Stars is a road trip to the always difficult grounds of Kingston Clippers,
Tindall Field (Queens University) on Saturday June 27th, 7 p.m. kickoff.

Sanjaxx Lions are in action on Saturday June 27th as well, home at Monarch Park vs.
Woodbridge Strikers, 8:30 p.m. kickoff.
