Toronto Adds Foreign Talent To Squad Collins, Grocott join Lynx from division rival K-W United Toronto Lynx News Release -- www.torontolynxsoccerclub.com Thursday, May 1, 2014 TORONTO -- In preparation for the upcoming season, the Toronto Lynx have added five new foreign players to their 2014 PDL roster. Liam Collins (Ireland) and William Grocott (England) will be very familiar with the division, as they make the short journey from local rivals K-W United to bolster the Lynx midfield. Joining them will be midfielder Gary Giffin (Scotland) and center back Harrison Rogers (England), who are both currently studying at Midland University and are key players from the NAIA University program. Forward Mario Pinto (Brazil) will join the squad from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. Pinto was the leading goal scorer for Reading United AC in the PDL last season as he finished with seven goals to lead the team to a berth in the Eastern Conference semifinals. This summer he will play his first season on Canadian soil. The Lynx open their season on May 18th with a home encounter with K-W United at 4 p.m. ET.
