Attendance was about 60 but I realized why would anyone pay anything? ($5.00 admission). The field was fenced off but open for viewing from all sides. The best view was on the railing behind the next field's stands which were higher than this field's own stands. Fans stood in the last row and faced this field for a good high perspective.

Masters entered this game with a 1 win, 1 loss record. TFCA had 2 ties in both their games this season but dominated this game. TFCA's first game of the season they played more than 75 minutes a man down then last weekend they travelled to Kingston. A team official gave the reason they played so much better this week that the players were more familiar with playing together—much the same answer as when I asked the Vaughan Azzurri coach last night.

This was a rough game with a lot of close checking. Referee Scott Decker gave out two Yellow cards to each team that I counted plus the Red to TFCA. There could have been a lot more. TFCA officials were jumping at their bench because of the hard sliding tackles although a lot were successful poke checks. "How many more times?" I heard more than once.

TFCA figured out how to rush right up the middle though the Masters defence and goalie Matthew Caldaroni (a late write in sub as Shane Lopez was listed as the starting goalie) had to make some point blank saves to keep the game to single digits.

Molham Babouli scores a hat trick for TFCA. Three goals right now should be enough to jump to at least tie for the league lead in goals in its third week.

This complex's field #1 is field turf with gridiron football markings which make it easy for me to estimate the distance of freekicks. I was distracted by the frequent whistles from the field just behind me. One of the games involved players about the same age as the game I was about to see. Their uniforms looked exactly like Durham United FC from last night but I was answered by a guy on their side of the fence that both teams were from the Sri Lankan league. Later there were Ontario Cup games taking place in the surrounding fields.

This was the inaugural home game for Masters FA whose nickname is 'The Saints'. They had retired 20 year MPP Dr Alvin Curling take the ceremonial opening kickoff. There was a halftime show with two rappers and an MC playing beats. They had a bigger sound system then this soccer league used to broadcast their announcements! League exec Anthony Totera was clearly upset by what may have been the number of 'F-bombs' they were dropping ("in front of all the kids!") although I thought they were saying "fock". After the game I asked a Masters official who they were--"L.T.M.G.". I was assured by her that the group was saying "fork up in the road". I found that song "Over Capacity" on YouTube after a long search. @PhoWonSix ohhh that's one of the area codes of Toronto! Now that would have saved some time. She said they are going to get in a lot of trouble for dropping a few 'N-bombs'. Yes I heard that.

I may have missed a card or two but didn't hang around to double check as I had to drive crosstown to get to Centennial Stadium to see the W-League game between Toronto Lady Lynx vs K-W United.
