Final Score:.....Toronto Lynx......0.....Michigan Bucks........1........

Attendance was about 225 on this mild and cloudy day. The crowd was much larger than the Lady Lynx game that I saw in the afternoon on the west side of the city. It had no school day promotion and there were at most 50 people of parents and friends.

This game was moved from the original PDL schedule at the beginning of the year. The game was played at a private school in uptown Toronto. It was an all boys school and I'd estimate all the students were younger than 13. The field was artificial turf with a five lane track up one side for running sports. There were no stands but a berm of grass and rock steps so everyone could see the field clearly.

The Bucks over the years have a high win total against the Lynx. Today's game they had the edge in position but the Lynx always had a last defender and an alert goalie to stop Buck scoring threats.

I wasn't sure this game would be here until Sunday when I was at the Women's Friendly Canada vs USA and it came up in the conversation. Although I'd seen the venue listed on the USL site, the PA announcer was still promoting a double header for Centennial Stadium at their last game. Since I was still pumped up after the seeing the International game a few days earlier, I decided I'd see the entire Lady Lynx game. The game would have ended by 2:30pm, my estimate, and the other game would start at 3:00pm but 30 minutes would not be enough time to drive across the city.
