>Attendance was about 70 on this overcast day with the temperature cooling as the game wore on.

Both teams had an almost equal number of chances so the final score was a fair result.

Referee Yusri Rudolf gave out 6 Yellow cards during the game with four going against BCU.

Best non-scoring chances were at 25 minutes when Astros Jose Goncalves De Sousa took a cornerkick from the left that had Astros Evan James take a 5 yard shot that was blocked by a sliding defender. Astros Eric Luptak on the right crossed the rebound from 22 yards that the goalie caught. 34 minutes had Astros Jose Melo bend a 28 yard freekick from the left that the goalie palmed over the bar. 42 minutes had Astros Melo take a 25 yard freekick down the middle that the flying goalie batted down on the left post then pick the ball up. 68 minutes had Astros Luptak knock down a ball, turned, and fired a low 20 yard shot down the middle that the goalie dived to save on the left post. 86 minutes had Astros Luptak at 18 yards tapp a pass to Astros Melo and he chipped the goalie from 10 yards but was wide left of the post. 87 minutes had BCU David Velastagui cross from 25 yards on the left and BCU Milos Scepanovic shoot an 18 yarder up the middle that the flying goalie stopped.

Astros record is now 6 wins, 11 losses, 3 ties for 21 points which ties them for 8th place with St Catharines. BCU record is now 12 wins, 6 losses, 1 tie for 37 points and all alone in 4th place. BCU breaks out of a 3 loss slump (all home games) that started when Astros upset them in Brampton on September 1st.

Now 90 minutes to get to the Toronto Croatia vs Burlington game but with a detour back home to bring some warmer clothes for the night air. Details of that game tomorrow!
