TOP FOUR STEP UP THE ACTION......the week end games The four leading teams now favoured to win the CSL First Division, Kingston FC, York Region Shooters, Toronto Croatia and Brampton City Utd, all see action this coming weekend to continue a struggle for a title bid that has been a highlight of the season throughout. Kingston FC have held the top spot most of the time and any change in that order as generally been a temporary one. The team from eastern Ontario is going into the weekend on top again, and with a substantial three-point lead. While Brampton trail their three rivals, they also have games in hand over all three, an advantage that will come in handy as the regular season moves closer to the end and intensifies. Kingston FC are inviting coaches from all sports to attend their home game on Sunday and they will be admitted free of charge. Anyone accompanying a coach will receive entry to the interesting clash with Astros Vasas FC, at half-price. One Second Division game – Serbian White Eagles B vs. Kingston FC B, scheduled for this coming Saturday at Eglinton Flats in Toronto, has been postponed until September 28. Rogers TV have listed the tape-delayed Toronto Croatia vs SC Waterloo First Division game played on August 18 to be shown this coming Sunday, August 25 at 6 pm. Please check listings in your area of Ontario.
