BEADER'S LATE HEADER SINKS LONDON HOPES FOR FIRST WIN.....Well-played encounter Friday

London City were heading for their first win of the new season when with just minutes 
to the final whistle Serbian White Eagles’ forward Milan Beader took a cross to head 
past London ‘keeper Vladimir Markotic at 87 minutes for a 2-2 final score, a well-played 
encounter at the Hellenic Community ground in London and the only game in the Canadian 
Soccer League Friday.

London midfielder Gent Miftari opened the scoring for the home side at 54 minutes following 
a scoreless first half and Serbian Eagles tied the score 1-1 nine minutes later when referee 
David Barrie ordered a penalty kick, scored by Veljko Lukovic.

London City went ahead 2-1 when forward Aldin Kukic found the net off a rebound at the 71st minute 
mark and Beader’s tying goal came 16 minutes later for a 2-2 tie at the final whistle.
