May 3, 2013 CSL details of Friday game (from CSL website)
LONDON OPENER CALLED OFF...It's Kingston FC vs. Brampton City Utd in Sunday double header The CSL season opener between London City and SC Waterloo was postponed Friday night due to conditions around the perimeter of the playing surface at the BMO Field in London ruled to be unsatisfactory by referee Yusri Rudolf. The attention now turns to Sunday when the second game in the six-month long CSL schedule, Kingston FC vs Brampton City Utd, will get underway at the Queen’s West Field in Kingston, a 1 pm start, and this will be followed with a Second Division encounter at 3.15 pm between the reserve teams of these two clubs. Kingston FC is expected to be stronger in this second year in the CSL, with a roster that includes 14 players ranked all-stars, five of which are from the local Queen’s University soccer Gaels. Brampton City Utd, missed the playoffs last season with their 12th place finish (the top eight qualify for a playoff berth), but are forecast to be in the top half of the standings at the end of the 2013 campaign.
