Attendance was announced as 5324. I thought the team would try to hide that fact but it was so obvious that the place was only 25% full. Later reports pointed out this was the smallest crowd since a replay game of last year when FC Dallas played a CONCACAF group game here the morning after a rain delay.

No Man of the Match was announced. There were no national anthems played neither but fans broke into 'O Canada' when they realized what was happening at the beginning of the game.

We learned from media reports after the game that the Aguila team had missed their flight in Miami and had to spend the night in the airport and only arrived today a few hours before game time.

TFC played well tonight against a weak team. Even when they scored to close to 2-1, I felt that TFC would easily restore their large lead because of all their chances. I didn't feel that way during the Aron Winter era.

TFC signed goalie Freddy Hall who has been trying out for the team the last few weeks. He is now the back up for Milos Kocic replacing 17 year old Quillan Roberts. Speculation before the game was that Hall would start tonight's game but Kocic continues his run of playing every minute of every game this season. The large lead that TFC built up tonight allowed for them to sub out Torsten Frings at 60 minutes and Ryan Johnson at 70 minutes--ending Johnson's long ironman streak.

TFC players walked across the field to applaud the south stands fans and hear the cheers--something that they didn't do after the Houston game.

TFC next CONCACAF Championship League game is August 28th at home against Santos Laguna of Mexico.
