SCEPANOVIC HAT-TRICK PROPELS BRAMPTON....home victories for Brantford, St. Catharines while Shooters 
and SC Toronto play to a 1-1 tie 

Three goals by forward Milos Scepanovic propelled Brampton City Utd. to a 6-0 victory over the hapless 
North York Astros, Brantford Galaxy defeated London City 4-0, St. Catharines Wolves won for the first 
time this season and York Region Shooters battled to a 1-1 tie with SC Toronto, four games in the 
Canadian Soccer League Sunday. 

Brampton City Utd took control early in the game with North York Astros at Victoria Park in Brampton 
and it was forward Alex Braletic who opened the scoring at 28 minutes and this was followed by a first 
of three goals by Milos Scepanovic 10 minutes later, a 2-0 Brampton lead at the interval.

Scepanovic found the net for the second time at 63 minutes for a 3-0 Brampton lead and forward 
Jean Tshimpaka made it 4-0 three minutes later.

Scepanovic completed the hat-trick at 85 minutes and three minutes later David Velastegui made 
it 6-0 for the home side, the score at the final whistle.

Brantford Galaxy and London City played to a scoreless tie at the interval at Lions Park in Brantford, 
but the home side took charge in the second half and opened the scoring at 67 minutes when Jeremy Shepherd 
fed a pass to Dave Simpson to fine the net from 12 yards. 

Midfielder Adam Leggett made it 2-0 just two minutes later with a hard drive from 25 yards that caught 
the top right corner, and nine minutes later Leggett scored a second goal with an individual effort 
up the right wing before hitting the top of the net for a 3-0 Galaxy lead.

Brantford midfielder Marco Machado took a pass from Dave Simpson to score the fourth goal for the home 
side at 83 minutes, a 4-0 result at the final whistle.

A goal at 21 minutes of the first half gave St. Catharines Wolves their first victory of the season, 
the goal coming from a free kick which midfielder Scott MacLennan collected to find the net and give 
the home side the lead.

There were few opportunities to score following the 1-0 lead at half time into the second half for 
a 1-0 final, a result which lifted the Garden City side off the bottom position in the standings. 

Forward Jason De Thomasis opened the scoring at 37 minutes for York Region Shooters against SC Toronto 
in the game at Maple, just north of Toronto, he moved in to collect a rebound from Toronto goalkeeper 
Scott Cliff for a 1-0 home lead at half-time. 

Kyle Hall struck the equalizer at 82 minutes for the visitors, he found the net past York Region goalkeeper 
Emanuelle Ameltonis for a 1-1 score which held to the final whistle.
