Halftime entertainment:...It was announced that Unico is giving 10000 pounds of food to the local food bank. There was a draw for a a KIA car between three contestants drawing envelopes from a nine envelope choice. It took until the third round until someone won.

Attendance was announced but was listed as 21,600 but I noticed a lot of empty seats (almost a third) including the corners which are usually only sold on the day of the game. This was a game of the two worst teams in the Eastern Conference.

This was a colder day than I thought when I left home. I was glad they game us a KIA touque and put mine on immediately to counter the cold and the wind. I took another survey about the game day program and received a plastic drinking cup. I was sure I could have had it earlier in the season if I'd ordered a large coke. I could see why they were giving them away as they showed a 3D picture of Julian de Guzman, and the traded players Dwayne De Rosario and Chad Barrett hugging some blocked player after a goal.

Man of the Match (who is always a TFC player) was named as captain Torsten Frings for the second home game in a row. He was once again playing in a defensive role today. Before the game goalie Milos Kocic was awarded the Esquire (a watch company) Player of the Month for community service.

Today's program listed the Revolution is inept. They had only won five games this season. The the standings show Toronto FC have won six so talk about living in a glass house! The Revs were missing their team MVP goalie Matt Reis due to a hamstring injury and their defender of the year AJ Soares who is also injured and had ankle surgery. TFC had never lost to the Revs at BMO Field. TFC had to come back to earn the tie. They were once again hurt by giving up both goals on defenders missing assignments.
