Halftime Entertainment:...There was a 7 on 7 game between players from Toronto High Park Football Club played in the center circle. The game was only about 3 1/2 minutes long and the players were probably girls and boys six years old. It was announced that 7500 lbs of food would be donated by team sponsor Purolater to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
2nd Half:...starts 8:14pm. The sun was still out in the north west but it was a bit cooler.

Attendance was announced as 21839 on this mild evening.
Today's referee was Yader Reyes who was the referee for the last TFC home game on June 4th against Sporting Kansas City. He gave out four Yellow cards to TFC but gave them a huge advantage when he Red carded Sounders defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado near the beginning of the second half.
Toronto was up a man for almost all the second half and still couldn't score. Javier Martina came the closest when he hit the post from 10 yards at 80 minutes.
The result certainly wasn't what I expected as almost immediately after the sending off Sounders subbed midfielder Lamar Neagle with defender Zach Scott to fill in the missing defender's spot of Hurtado. At worst I was expecting a 0-0 tie.
Toronto fans didn't get to see O'Brian White play against them today as he was out injured. He was claimed in the expansion draft by Vancouver but they traded him to Seattle later that day. Sounders were also missing midfielder Steve Zakuani due to injury. TFC was getting by without defender Dicoy Williams who was still away with the Jamaican national team at the Gold Cup plus injuries to defenders Nana Attakora and Adrian Cann and midfielders Tony Tchani and Jacob Peterson. Midfielder Gianluca Zavarise was serving a Red card suspension.
The TFC players didn't come over to the south stands to salute the crowd at the end of the game. They might have got a rude reception from all but their hardcord supporters as there were a few boobird fans around my section. TFC players vanishing when the final whistle blew was in contrast to Sounders players who came over to wave to their small group of travelling fans at the top of Section 105.
