Reds Begin Road To CCL
FCE v. TFC - Where you can watch & participate tonight.
April 27, 2011

Toronto FC will begin its defence of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship Wednesday night in Alberta against FC Edmonton (8 p.m. ET on Rogers Sportsnet).
The Reds went through this tournament last season undefeated on way to the CONCACAF Champions League preliminary round and group stage. Toronto will
be looking to match or exceed the Champions League achievements of last season against the continent's top clubs - but it all starts against Edmonton
in the NCC.

The winner will be decided over two legs, with Toronto hosting the second game on May 4 at BMO Field. The club that wins in aggregate will then face
the winner of Montreal-Vancouver over another two legs to decide Canada's lone representative in the 2011/12 CONCACAF Champions League preliminary round.

FC Edmonton is a first-year club playing in the North American Soccer League. The Monties have two wins and a loss from their first three NASL matches
scoring three goals and conceding the same amount. Edmonton features Canadian international Eddy Sidra and former Montreal Impact defender Alex Surprenant.
