Midfielder Carlos Nogueira opened the scoring at the 5th minute mark for SC Toronto for a 1-0 score at half-time at the Marie Victorin ground and Alexandros Halis beat Montreal goalkeeper Dom Provost to make it 2-0 at 61 minutes. Jarek Whiteman struck twice for the visitors, his first at 78 minutes for a 3-0 Toronto lead, then again 10 minutes later to make it 4-0, the final score.
