Dwayne De Rosario expects Saturday's home opener against Seattle Sounders FC to be 'a very special day' as he plays in front of the Toronto FC supporters for the first time since joining the team from Houston Dynamo. The Scarborough native is looking forward to having friends and family in the stands as well as experiencing the spectacular BMO Field atmosphere.

"I've got a lot of people coming out to show their support for me and the team so it will be very exciting for me," said De Rosario. "It will be a very special day for me and I'm looking very much forward to it and so are the rest of the guys on the team. It's my first home opener here so it's a proud moment for me and I really want to come out of the game with a good result to get off to a positive start in my home town and keep our streak going. It is important that everyone goes home happy and that we get the job done and win."

De Rosario has played a big role in Toronto's two road games so far this season including setting up two of the goals in the 3-2 win at Kansas City Wizards on opening day. "It's huge for us to come home unbeaten as it has helped build our confidence and momentum," he said. "To go away from home and face the champions from last year Columbus in their own home opener and come out with a good result is huge for us. We have to take the momentum into this game and be more aggressive going forward and more clinical in front of goal. Seattle is on a high note after the first two games so we want to deflate them and set the tone for ourselves as early as possible."
