Attendance was announced as 20074. With the threat of rain but no actually rain falling at anytime during the game, the stands looked more full than their last home game but there was no way that every ticket holder showed up.
When the Dynamo took the lead on the Own goal, the stadium scoreboard zoomed in on Tyrone Marshall with his hands on his face. All of us thought it was he who had given up the goal rather than Hunter Freeman. Remembering that Marshall was called for Penalty kick that gifted a win for Kansas City in last week's road game, the boos rained down. When Marshall later played a safe headed backpass to Greg Sutton, the crowd sarcastically cheered. Marshall had some important blocks on Dynamo players. Marvell Wynne had a huge poke check at 75 minutes on Dwayne DeRosario.
The Carlsberg Man of the Match (who is always a TFC player) was Marvell Wynne which made sense this week because of him being the goal scorer and stellar defensive play.
During today's game besides the reminders to renew out season tickets, we were also given a hard sell to buy Toronto Marlies hockey tickets even using a bribe of a chance for Toronto Maple Leafs tickets to get people to buy a combo package.
After today's game the first admission by the coaching staff that TFC may not make the playoffs. They've been in 'must win' games for a month now but a win eludes them.
