Toronto FC fall in scrimmage
Team loses 2-1 to Canada's U-20 team at BMO Field

Toronto FC lost 2-1 to Canada U20'S team in a behind closed doors scrimmage at BMO Field on Thursday morning.
Three TFC players were in the Canada U20 squad, including Nana Attakora Gyan who scored one of the goals. Joey Melo and Gabe Gala also played. The Canada U20's are in town preparing to face Argentina U20's at BMO Field on Sunday, kick off 4:00 p.m.
Canada held a 1-0 lead at half time and doubled the advantage after the break before Jarrod Smith pulled a goal back for TFC.
Chris Cummings was impressed with the performance of the three TFC players on the Canada team. "I thought Nana was very good for them. When Joey came on he was decent on the ball and showed his competitiveness, and Gabe was a real box of tricks and showed loads of enthusiasm. I thought the three of them were first class."
TFC starting side: Brian Edwards, Pat Phelan (Tyrone Marshall, 46) Olivier Tebily, Julius James, Todd Dunivant, Jarrod Smith, Kevin Harmse, Tyler Rosenlund, Rohan Ricketts (Mo Edu, 60), Andrea Lombardo, Jeff Cunningham (Marvell Wynne, 60).
