Final Score:……Toronto FC Reserves…….2……..Kansas City Wizards Reserves…..3…….

Attendance started at about 300 and was down to about 100 by the time the game was over. The PA announcer didn’t mention there was a reserves game throughout the afternoon and even after the main game ended. It may have helped slow down the departure of the crowd trying to make their way home without the city transit system operating as a strike started suddenly at midnight. The fans who stayed (all had to crowd into the east stand) did their best to heckle the Wizards Sasha Victorine (name on uniform) and Eloy Colombano (long hair) and the lady referee and the east side linesman. Some of the heckling was reserved for TFC Andrea Lombardo who had some off target blasts and gave up some balls on bad passing.

TFC goalie Brian Edwards made a fantastic save at 72 minutes when Wizards Scott Sealy headed a five yarder that Edwards palmed over the net while falling backwards.

With the hawk put away from his perch on top of the west stands, the field and stands were gradually invaded by flocks of seagulls. The wind picked up during the game and a big gust blew some of the picnic table umbrellas over the railing from the north end beer garden and one made it onto the field and the game had to be stopped until the Wizards goalie removed it.
