Toronto waives Andrew Boyens

Toronto FC announced Monday that they have waived defender Andrew Boyens.
"We wish Andy all the best in his future career," said manager Mo Johnston. "He's been a true professional both on and off the field for us since his arrival and we thank him for his contribution to the club."
Boyens, 23, was drafted in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft out of the University of New Mexico. He started 21 of 23 games with Toronto FC recording one goal and one assist in 1825 minutes.
