Loague's last minute strike stuns playoff hopefuls St. Catharines Wolves................upcoming weekend games will decide key positions...............Astros vs. Wolves clash switched to the new Downsview Park

A last minute goal by London City forward Andrew Loague snatched a crucial victory from St. Catharines Wolves and a possible playoff berth as the two teams tied 3-3 at Club Roma in St. Catharines Wednesday night. St. Catharines needed a win, then a tie with North York Astros on Sunday to clinch the last playoff spot, but the Garden City team is now faced with a must-win game – their last game on the last day of the regular season against the Astros.
London’s Brian Abidakum struck at the 11th minute mark to open the scoring and just two minutes later Loague scored a second London goal – his 13th of the season – for a 2-0 lead at the 13th minute mark.
Wolves’ Tony Marmigas cut the lead to 2-1 at 26 minutes and Calvin Rosario added two more for the St. Catharines’ team at 64 and 86 minutes for a 3-2 lead with just minutes remaining in the game.
Just when the home side looked to be picking up their all-important victory, Loague struck again for London City at 89 minutes, his 14th of the campaign for a 3-3 tie.
In the remaining games of the season this coming weekend, Toronto Croatia look to improve their International Division standing with a home win over TFC Academy on Friday night. Portugal can also move up a spot in the International Division standings if they defeat Trois-Rivieres on Saturday and Toronto Croatia lose their two remaining games.
Sunday’s two games also have important implications for all four teams. North York Astros are at home to St. Catharines at Downsview Park, a relocation from the original Esther Shiner Stadium venue and Italia Shooters are at home to Toronto Croatia at Maple.
