Toronto FC couldn't score in this game. I got a bad feeling once DC United scored so early in the game although Toronto was applying the early pressure and outshot the visitors 6-1 in the first half. The league stats lists them now with a scoreless streak of 642 minutes. The team set the record after only 6 minutes. Danny Dichio played the entire game for Toronto. He had been injured and out of action for almost a month. The team only made one substitution the whole game but it was hard to think of just who they should bring in for any scoring punch. Danny Dichio was chosen the Man of the Match (the award always goes to a TFC player). Some booing erupted when the final whistle blew. DC United goalie Troy Perkins earned the shutout for the visitors. He always seemed to be in the correct position and made his saves look easy.
