Brennan was the only one to give a speech and he told the fans how much the team appreciated their support.

Attendance was another sellout but I noticed many empty seats for this final game of the season. I'd estimate just under 10% of the fans didn't show up. Fans were told to arrive earlier for the celebration. There was a coloured card in every seat. We were told to hold them up before the game started and it would provide a special message. This wasn't as organized as North Korea so some people didn't bother and there were a lot more than 10% empty seats before the game started.
Before the game Toronto FC held their first TFC awards.
The 2007 MVPs were co-winners and team captains Jim Brennan and Carl Robinson.
The Humanitarian Award was given to Chris Pozniak.
The Defender of the Year Award was given to Jim Brennan.
Jim Brennan who didn't play in today's game gave a short speech thanking the fans for their support.
Toronto FC played a strong game to come from behind and get the tie. The Revolution had already secured a playoff spot and had handled their two earlier meetings this season with convincing shutout wins in New England. Danny Dichio's injury time game bookended the TFC season as he was the first scorer for the team this season.
I thought the wind played a factor in two of the goals. The Michael Parkhurst goal was from behind the center line and sailed over TFC goalie Kenny Stamatopoulos. The Danny Dichio injury time goal was also into the same net and was over goalie Matt Reis and just under the bar with him just off his line.
After the game the TFC players came over to applaud the fans. They started behind the south end nets and I thought they would just salute the Ultras and Red Patch Boys fan sections in the end zone but then they continued around the edge of the field all the way around the field including my center line Section 108 side. Very impressed. Later I heard that fans pushed their way onto the field which earlier in the year would have resulted in arrests but for this season ending game, the police just looked the other way as many hundreds of fans whooped it up on the field. I would like to 'feel' the field turf to compare it with the other pitches around the city but I had already left to drive uptown to see the CSL Semi-Final in North York.
