Toronto FC signs 6 Cdn rookies
TORONTO (CP) - Toronto FC signed six Canadian rookies to its development league Thursday.
The new additions includes midfielder Andrew (A.J) Gray of Brampton, Ont., defender Stephen Lumley of Mississauga, Ont., and Toronto's Andrea Lombardo, a forward, all of whom are current members of the Canadian U-20 National team. The club also signed goalkeeper Tomer Chencinski of Thornhill, Ont., as well as midfielder and Toronto native David Guzman and defender Tyler Hemming of London, Ont.
As per team policy, financial details were not disclosed.
