Toronto FC to kick off inaugural season in California
MLS expansion side will open 2007 season at Chivas USA

Toronto FC unveiled details of the team's regular season schedule Monday. Toronto FC will play it's first regular season game in team history on April 7, 2007 versus Chivas USA in Carson, California at Home Depot Center. Game time is 10:30 pm EST.

The team will visit the New England Revolution for the Revs home opener at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, April 14 in Massachusetts before returning to Toronto where they will face Head Coach Mo Johnston's former team the Kansas City Wizards during their inaugural game at BMO Field on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Game time is 4 p.m. EST.

Toronto FC will celebrate the world's most beautiful game during BMO Field's Official Grand Opening Weekend on Saturday, May 12, 2007. The opponent for that game has yet to be announced. During that entire weekend, there will be a number of events and festivities at Exhibition Place to celebrate the start of professional soccer in Toronto that fans can enjoy including stadium tours, and autograph sessions.

The entire Major League Soccer schedule will be released in early 2007.
