London City rolled over North York Astros by a 6-2 score at Esther Shiner Stadium, Oakville Blue Devils dominated Brampton Stallions 4-1 at Bronte Stadium and Italia Shooters and Toronto Supra Portuguese fought to a 1-1 tie at The Soccer Centre in Vaughan, three games played in the Canadian Soccer League Sunday night.

London City made amends for their 1-0 loss to St. Catharines Wolves on Friday night and were totally in control of the home team at Esther Shiner Stadium on Sunday when three goals were scored in three minutes midway through the second half.

Karim Ben Sari opened the scoring for London after five minutes, Gentjan Dervishi made it 2-0 at 34 minutes and Dawid Antonczyk scored for the Astros on half-time. Gentjan Dervishi of London scored his second to make it 3-1 at 50 minutes, then three goals in succession, Michel Daoust of London (61 minutes), Eugene Ishchak of the Astros (62 minutes) and Michel Daoust scored his second for the visitors at 63 minutes for a 5-2 lead before Erik Elmauer made it 6-2 for London at the 79th minute mark.

Oakville Blue Devils also made amends on Sunday following their opening game 2-1 loss to the Stallions on May 28.

Led by midfielder Miles O’Connor, who scored the opening goal for the Blue Devils at 41 minutes and who played a part in two others Sunday night, the 2005 champions took control as the game progressed following the 1-0 lead at the interval and making it 2-0 on a goal by Zoran Kalic at the 46th minute mark. Forward Judah Hernandez increased the Oakville lead to 3-0 at 48 minutes and Sam Hassam made it 4-0 one minute later. Gladstone Richards scored the lone Brampton goal at 80 minutes.

Toronto Supra Portuguese opened their International Division season by taking a point from a 1-1 tie with Italia Shooters. The Portuguese opened the scoring at 27 minutes on a strike by Daniel Afriye and Italia tied the score four minutes later on a goal by Stalin Cardenas. Italia Shooters are still looking for their first win, having been defeated 3-2 and 2-0 by Serbian White Eagles.
