St. Catharines Wolves registered their intention to win the third place playoff spot in the Western Conference with a crucial 1-0 victory over London City at Cove Road in London, the only game scheduled in the Canadian Professional Soccer League Friday. The game was rescheduled following a postponement on August 12.
