LES DYNAMITES TOO MUCH FOR BORDER STARS AT BOIS-DU-BOULOGNE STADIUM
Saturday - August 13, 2005

SUNDAY CHANGES IN SCHEDULE

Two goals each by Laval's Nicolas Lesage and Steven Craig, together with a single from Arturo Cisneros-Salas proved too much for Border Stars in a 5-1 victory for the Quebec-based team in a one-sided encounter at the Bois-du-Boulogne Stadium, the only game in the Canadian Professional Soccer League Saturday.

Lesage struck his goals at the 23rd and 45th minutes, while Craig scored twice in the second half at 67 and 73 minutes. Salas scored the second Laval Dynamites goal at the 35th minute mark, while Hussein Sabra scored the only Border Stars' goal at the 63rd minute.

The win moves Les Dynamites (7-3-0 WLT for 21 points) into a tie with Vaughan Shooters for second position in the Eastern Conference standings, while Border Stars continue to struggle with a 3-8-1 record for 10 points at the foot of the Western Conference.
