HAMILTON THUNDER KEEP CLEAN SHEET WITH 0-0 TIE
Thursday - July 7, 2005

Hamilton Thunder continues its remarkable record of not having conceded a goal in league play following a scoreless tie with Toronto Supra in the only game played in the Canadian Professional Soccer League Thursday.

The 0-0 result is the fifth game when the opposition failed to find the Hamilton net and Robbie Ferrari has the distinction of being the Hamilton Thunder goalkeeper in all five.

It was a well-played game at Brian Timmis Stadium in Hamilton, a game when each team had few opportunities to take away all points.

Two Toronto Supra players failed to connect on a free header in front of the Thunder net near the end of the second half and Lee O’Connell had an excellent chance for Hamilton with almost the last kick of the game.

Hamilton have a 3-0-2 record for 11 points in second position in the Western Conference following tonight’s game, while Toronto Supra are now third in the Eastern Conference standings with a 2-2-1 record for 7 points.
