LAVAL UPSETS LONDON CITY 4-1, CROATIA BEATS DURHAM

Laval Dynamites jumped to an early 2-0 lead and never looked back in their 4-1 defeat of Western Conference leader London City at Cove Road, London, Friday and in one other game in the Canadian Professional Soccer League, Toronto Croatia increased their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 2-1 home victory over Durham Storm.
Forward Rachid Madour led the way with a natural hat-trick for Les Dynamites, scoring at the 6th, 8th and 49 minutes, with Nasson Theosmy striking the fourth goal at the 61st minute mark. London’s lone marker came just two minutes to the final whistle from Nicholas Mancuso.
Toronto Croatia had to come from behind for their third victory of the season following a goal at 15 minutes by Storm’s Craig Patton who lifted the ball over the oncoming George Azcurra in the Croatia goal. Croatia drew level at 57 minutes on a goal by Peter Curic and Caswain Mason scored the winner when he collected a pass from Tom Granic on the left wing to beat Craig Williams in the Durham net.
