Match Summary: The Lynx continued their 4-game road trip in Rochester tonight, dropping a 4-0 decision to the Raging Rhinos. The Rhinos kicked off their 2004 A-League season with an impressive offensive display in front of a crowd of 9,698 on a rainy night in Rochester. Striker, Chris Carrieri, opened the scoring after only 11 minutes on a cross to the far post and Kirk Wilson added a second on an identical play 9 minutes before the half. The Lynx came out with more determination in the second half and generated several good scoring opportunities including a strike off the post from midfielder Joe Mattacchione. Despite the Lynx’ efforts, the Rhinos iced the game late with two goals from substitute, Corey Woolfolk in the 80th and 83rd minutes. The Lynx continue their road trip in Richmond on Thursday, May 6th and Virginia Beach on Saturday, May 8th before opening at home versus the Rhinos on Sunday, May 16th at 4pm.
