6 min...DS goalie slides out to blocke grounder. Ball pops over him but he grabs it on his back over BH Jurisic to make stop.
8 min...BH Jurisic 25 yard shot well over net.
9 min...DS Speakman leaps to head cross into box wide of BH net.
13 min...DS Rayment gets throw-in along right end line but defender blocks him and goalie scoops up ball. A pushing incident erupts.
15 min...BH Akmadzic can't clear and BH goalie blasts ball from DS Welch wide right for throw-in.
16 min...DS Dummett gets through ball on right and 30 yard run then cutting towards net takes 15 yard shot that goalie deflects, DS Coddington turns header going wide left from 7 yards and defender blocks DS player's 3 yard tap-in attempt on left post.

21 min...DS Welch dekes BH Akmadzic twice on rush up middle but can't get away shot when second defender gets to him.

49 min...Storm Jahmo Welch GOAL...DS Rashid Koriya runs on left and low cross into box is behind charging Storm forward however Welch is on right of box and takes low 10 yard shot into right side of net past goalie Roy Blanche.
52 min...BH Ionadi cornerkick from right is over all players in box.
57 min...Hitmen Phil Ionadi GOAL...Ionadi's 30 yard freekick in center is low around player wall and into low right corner of net on one bounce beyond sprawling goalie.

61 min...DS Koriya hurt near sideline outside center circle and needs treatment on his leg on sideline.

78 min...Two players crash on edge of BH box and both are injured.
79 min...DS Dummett (?) freekick from 25 yards on right is blocked by player, DS Dummett rebound from 20 yards in center is shot well over net.
80 min...BH Ionadi cornerkick from right is well over players in box, crossed back and BH players crosses back again over all players with noone getting in a shot on net.

Attendance was about 150 on this warm evening.
Durham Storm record falls to 0-5-0 with another loss but the team looked good again this week and could have earned a tie or won. They're comparable with the A-League Puerto Rico Islanders in that they are getting better and each opponent don't want them to get their first points against them. The Hitmen raise their record to 3 wins, 1 loss, 2 ties. It was the first game of the season with owner/coach Steve Nijjar behind the bench after serving a suspension that stretched back to last year. Phil Ionadi was a halftime sub and immediately starting taking the dead ball kicks.
The game was really entertaining with lots of upfield rushes. The goals looked similar to some of the Euro 2004 Cup goals scored in the last two weeks. Both teams need to work on their cornerkicks and out of box crosses because these chances usually drifted over everybody's heads waiting in the box.
