Attendance was about 75 on this very cold and wet night. The crowd actually doubled by game's end to watch the follow up game in the TDS league cup final. A hard rain fell from the 8 minute to 36 minute mark. An overall miserable night although a small crowd can mostly be protected by taking shelter under the shadow of the huge pressbox.
Sun Devils had to play 89 minutes of this game a man down after that 11 minute RED card for a professional foul and took advantage of more of the opportunities presented them. OMNI broadcaster Alex Franco mentioned that Supra had used a zone defense all year but for this playoff game they were marking man-to-man without a great deal of success with that system. Forward Ryan Gamble played his first game back for the Supra tonight after missing more than a year with an injury.
Sun Devils now move into the weekend tournament where their opponent will be Eastern Conference champions Ottawa Wizards on Saturday.
