Attendance was about 40 on this cool evening. The game was played at Esther Shiner Stadium and had been rescheduled from Wednesday August 6th.
When I saw the Flames show up on Saturday with only twelve players I could sense the scoreline. Tonight against the undefeated Supra they showed up with only ten players! Various problems involving injuries and players leaving to go away to school was explained to me by a Flames official. Supra officials assure me the Flames will have to pay a heavy fine to the league for not bringing enough players. The game was never in doubt as predictably the Flames players tired in the second half playing against the Supra subs. I almost bolted this game before it started as I was only ten minutes from Dufferin District and I could have seen Vaughan Sun Devils and Brampton Hitmen.
