Bermuda Select 2 Hamilton Thunder 2Bermuda threw away a two goal lead in the second game of their double-header with Canadian tourists, the Hamilton Thunder, having to instead settle for a 2-2 draw on Sunday night.

PHC’s Stephen Astwood scored both goals for the home side at the National Stadium, the first coming after ten minutes and the second after 65.

But despite falling behind the Canadians refused to give up and their perseverance brought them dividends in the form of goals after 75 minutes and 82 minutes.

Bermuda had suffered a setback just before the half when centre-back Damon Edwards dislocated his shoulder and had to leave the game.

The Island’s national coach Gary Darrell said his team played far better than they did during Friday night’s 1-0 defeat to the visitors.
