The Etobicoke Centennial Choir sang the national anthems. There were 20 of them this time.

The ceremonial kickoff is taken by former national team member and coach Bob Lenarduzzi and present day member Jason Devos who are doing the World Cup commentary on the CBC network and young (under 12) Dylan DiTuri who the Lynx have used as their poster boy in past years.

All times are converted from my wristwatch as the scoreboard wasn't working and the portable table top scoreboard was too small and far away for me to see.

1 min...Lynx goalie catches long throw-in from left.
4 min...CB Swords freekick from 30 yards on right is caught by goalie on left side of box.
5 min...Lynx Budalic cornerkick from right is low but booted away by CB player.
12 min...Lynx Serioux long throw-in from right line 40 yards! Lynx Kolic leans into 12 yard header, CB goalie catches on right side of net.
14 min...Lynx Serioux long throw-in from left, furious in box action but ball is cleared.

Halftime show: involved a kick to win a satellite television system by scoring on four of five shots from the five corners of the box. Today's contestant got only one. Last year's Kick For Cash required a 5/5 record and there were no winners. A Freestyle soccer demonstration took place with 'Willy and Steve'. Also more dancing from the Lynx Spirit Dancers plus a mini soccer game between two kids teams using the center for the field. A real circus.
