Attendance was 2790. This was a huge win for the Toronto Lynx although it doesn't count in the league standings. The publicity generated should help the Lynx ticket drive as the team still hasn't played a home game this year because Centennial Stadium is still not for use. The Toronto Star and Toronto Sun each sent a reporter.
TSV wanted to win this game. They left their starters in for longer than the first half. They had no 5-0 halftime lead like their game against the CPSL All Stars earlier in the week. The Lynx were called for offsides almost as often as the CPSL team.
This was a pretty rough game and the number of Yellow cards on both teams was certainly deserved.
