The surprise move is good news for Toronto soccer fans as TSV 1860 Munich has said that Max will play in the international friendly match against the Toronto Lynx on Saturday, May 18th at York University. Toronto Lynx Head Coach and General Manager, Peter Pinizzotto was pleased to hear that Max will be making the trip. “Max Martin is one of the top players playing in Germany right now, said Pinizzotto. "Anytime you have the opportunity to play or coach against a great player like Max it’s a big thrill. Really though the big winners here are the fans. I think the fans will be very impressed by his level of play”. TSV 1860 Munich also announced today the addition of Brazilian defender Rodrigo Costa to the club. Costa will be flying in directly from Brazil in time for the match and will be in uniform against the Lynx. The native of Laranjal Paulista, Brazil has played for several prominent pro teams in his career including C.S. Martimo Portugal, S.E. Palmeiras, and Santos.
