Attendance was about 70 on this warm damp evening. It looked like it would rain at the beginning of the game but it didn't after all. It had rained for quite a while earlier in the day and it was a muddy field in parts and a slippery.
Patrick Bradley earned the shutout for the Lions with a few good saves and Paolo Ceccarelli was called on to make good saves to keep the game close . The Hitmen had many offside calls made against them by the referee's assistant John Biondich but it was consistant with the first half with both teams having many plays called back on offside calls.
Metro Lions have now won three games in a row and they've all been on the road starting (after a road loss to Ottawa) with a 5-3 win against Montreal, and a 1-0 win against Vaughan.
Lions brought in a second half sub named Julius Caesar!
