Attendance was about 450 on this cold afternoon.
Astros had a few early chances including one at the 2 minute mark when Guillermo Compton Hall rushed down the right and rolled cross to charging Lukasz Krakowiak who kicked 5 yard tap-in wide left. Wizards had a few chances to put this game out of reach sooner but couldn't score.
Wizards goalie Sa Brahima Tradre earned the shutout and was in fact injured twice as he palmed balls away against the wind and crashed himself into the back of the net. Referee Steven DePiero gave out a few cards but it wasn't a real rough game.
Three games in 42 hours was too much for the Astros to overcome. The Wizards are triple crown winners winning the League Championship, League Cup, and Playoff Cup in 2002.
